ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS*<br />
Assured Admissions: Students in the top 25% from a<br />
regionally accredited high school in Texas within the past<br />
two years<br />
Regular Admissions: Students in the top 50% from a<br />
regionally accredited high school in Texas, plus an SAT 1080<br />
(based on Evidence-Based Reading & Math) or an ACT 21<br />
composite score<br />
• We will use the official SAT tables provided by the<br />
College Board; the strongest score will be considered<br />
• If you are unable to submit your scores due to<br />
COVID-19 pandemic, your application will be reviewed<br />
without them<br />

APPLICATION PROCESS<br />
STEP 1: Apply online to TWU at ApplyTexas.org<br />
STEP 2: Pay the application fee of $50<br />
($75 for international students)<br />
STEP 3: Submit the following:<br />
• Most recent high school transcript<br />
• Official transcript from institutions with<br />
completed college courses (if applicable)<br />
• SAT or ACT optional*<br />
• Permanent resident card (if applicable)<br />
Regular Admission without SAT/ACT: Students with a 2.0<br />
high school GPA on a 4.0 scale who either meet one of the<br />
Texas high school curriculum requirements or who attend a<br />
private Texas high school or an out-of-state high school<br />
Individual Review: Students who do not meet assured/<br />
regular requirements may be considered individually by the<br />
Office of Admissions Processing.<br />
*Texas Education Code (TEC) 51.803-51.809, requires that students<br />
meet the college readiness standard to be considered for admission<br />
to a Texas four-year public institution. This requirement is<br />
temporarily suspended in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.<br />

committed to helping with resumes, internships<br />
