LIVING ON CAMPUS
With its historic buildings, Lowry Woods walking
pathway, large turtles sunning by the Texas Pond, and a
bike-friendly atmosphere, TWU’s Denton campus is
known for its beauty and as one of the safest colleges in
the nation and state, according to the National Council
for Home Safety and Security. Our students who live on
campus feel like a part of the university community, have
greater satisfaction with their college experience, perform
better academically and are more likely to graduate.

TWU’s Campus Alliance for Resource Education (CARE) is
a support center for commuters, veterans, adult learners,

DINING OPTIONS
Pioneer Kitchen has options available for all tastes and
preferences. Enjoy Starbucks in the library, grab a salad
on the go, hang with friends at Chick-fil-A or Qdoba in
the Student Union at Hubbard Hall, or relax at Oakland
Cafe. The state-of-the-art Dining Hall features a variety of
food preparation and serving stations, including allergenfree

LIVING LEARNING COMMUNITIES (LLC)
Integrating experiences inside and outside the classroom,
LLC students build connections with other students, faculty
and university leaders by enrolling in the same classes, living
together in residence halls, and participating in related social
and academic activities.

The renovated and expanded historical building
became the new home of the union in 2020.
