AT TEXAS WOMAN’S UNIVERSITY, we believe in a quality education that is affordable and accessible. This
is why we offer $13 million in scholarships annually, including many just for first-year students. Most students are able
to maintain their scholarships for up to four years.
Many financial aid options are available, including grants, loans and part-time campus jobs. Find out more at

HOW TO APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS
1. Apply to TWU at ApplyTexas.org
2. Check your Pioneer Portal to be sure your application is
complete and you are accepted
3. Complete the FAFSA for Financial Aid; the FAFSA matches
you with loans and need-based grants
4. Complete Scholarship Applications
a. Apply and search for scholarships at
twu.academicworks.com
b. Submit the General Application and automatically
match to “New Student Scholarships” you qualify for
c. Some scholarship deadlines may vary
Scholarship award amounts can range from $11,000 to $500
per year. Some may also cover room and board.
