excellence awards
Since 1951, Gifts & Decorative Accessories has held the Retailer
Excellence Awards as an annual ceremony celebrating independent retail.
During this year’s event, twenty-one retail nominees were recognized
and seven were given awards. Competitive categories included best
in class for merchandising, events, store design, social media, and
more. In addition to the retailer awards, each year GDA recognizes a
Manufacturer of the Year and Sales Representative of the Year.
On Tuesday, June 22, 2021 GDA announced the Top 10 Vendors nominated
be nominated for such an award. To be considered alongside nominees
such as Demdaco, Mud Pie, Evergreen, Sullivans and Nora Fleming was
an honor.
Though we didn’t clinch the award, we were extremely appreciative
to be nominated and regarded so highly by our retail partners. We
look forward to future nominations, and are committed to developing
innovative, unique home décor and gifts and providing excellent
customer service.
