Louisa 

Warehouse Manager

Welcome to our brand new 

Meet The Team section! 

Each month, we will be introducing you to a different 

member of our team. Despite selling over 4000 products 

to a customer database of over 27,000 salons, we are a 

small close-knit team so we want to give you the chance 

to truly get to know each of us. Meet Louisa our bubbly 

work acholic warehouse manager. She makes the magic 

happen in the warehouse. 

How long have you worked at Salonserve? 

I started working for SalonServe in 2016, I first started 

working in our office. Being a hands-on practical 

person, I naturally progressed to working with our 

warehouse and later took over the role of warehouse 

manager, which I love!

I love the Thai Pedicure

What do you like best about your job? 

I like that I’m always busy – there’s always something 

to do. 

Do you have any pets? 

Yes, I have two lovely dogs – Ozzy and Kai, and a cat 

called Felix – well he’s my mums’ cat but I’d feel bad if 

I left him out! 

What are your hobbies? 

Flyball is my main hobby. We train twice a week and 

attend monthly competitions. My dog Ozzy completed 

his first lane last weekend – I’m so proud of him. 

I also love old cars. I have a Volvo 740. It’s great – it’s 

30 years old and it tows my folding caravan for when 

we go to competitions. 

If money were no object, 

what would you buy? 

A farm! I love animals and I would love the space. We 

have an allotment – we are growing pumpkins and 

sprouting broccoli at the moment. 

As a child, what did you want to be 

when you grew up? 

I wanted to be a hairdresser, I ended up going into 

catering and events. I worked at a local hotel until Claire 

head-hunted me and converted me to the world of hair 

and beauty, so I guess I did end up working with hair 

products after all! 

How do you keep your team motivated? 

I always stay positive – I’m happy all of the time! There 

are no problems, just challenges waiting for solutions! 

What makes you happy and excited at work? 

We are set picking and packing targets. I love it when we 

hit those, all orders going out on time perfectly picked 

and packed. We have an amazing 99.8% accurate picking 

rate at the moment! I am always looking for better ways to 

improve what we do, when we try something new, and it 

works that makes me smile! Just recently we introduced a 

box recycling system, so no box is thrown away and where 

possible re-used, it’s so nice to hear the positive feedback 

from our lovely customers, everyone working together to 

do their bit to help the environment. 

If you could only choose one song to play for 

the rest of your life, what would it be? 

Heads Will Roll – Yeah Yeah Yeahs - if I can pick a song to 

put on, it would always be that one.
