Meet The Team section! 

Each month, we will be introducing you to a different 

member of our team. Despite selling over 4000 products 

to a customer database of over 27,000 salons, we are a 

small close-knit team so we want to give you the chance 

to truly get to know each of us. To kick things off, we have 

interviewed our lovely and fantastically-funny production 

manager, Tina! Believe it or not, we had to pre-warn her 

to be on her best behaviour – you just never know what 

she’s going to say next!! 

How long have you worked at Salonserve? 

I’ve worked here for 17 years – I started on the 21st 

of June all those years ago and here I am. I’ve never 

looked back!

What is your favourite Salonserve product? 

I particularly love the Aromatic Calming and Soothing 

Oil – It smells great and I love seeing the intense deep 

orange colour when it’s in production! 

What do you like best about your job? 

Variety – there’s always something different going on. 

No day is ever the same. I’ve got my sidekick, Marlena, 

who is always on hand and we always have a 

laugh together. 

Who is your role model/idol? 

Ooh that’s a hard one… Oh I know, Alex Polizzi – the 

hotel inspector. I just love her - she’s a proper business 

woman isn’t she! 

If you could choose to be someone for the 

day, who would it be? 

Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman! Particularly the part 

when she’s in the bath… Am I allowed to say that? 

(she laughs) 

If money were no object, what would 

you buy? 

A big house with overhanging trees all the way up the 

driveway. I’d stay local to my home town though and I’d 

have my family close by! 

As a child, what did you want to be when 

you grew up? 

Nothing specific – I was never that child that dreamt of 

being a Ballerina! I just go with the flow really. 

What’s the biggest challenge you’ve faced at 

Salonserve? 

‘Bottle-gate!’ (she rolls her eyes and chuckles) - It’s tough 

in production when we can’t get the materials we need – 

shortages in things such as product bottles is the biggest 

challenge for me! It can be a struggle but we always make 

it work! It’s very rare that we are ever out of stock of 

in-house products! 

How do you keep your team motivated? 

I keep smiling and carry on! (a big grin on her face) 

I’m always happy and approachable. I’d hate for anyone 

to think they can’t ask me a question. If I don’t know the 

answer, then I don’t know the answer but I’m always 

happy to help. I just have a laugh! 

How many products are you 

responsible for? 

Umm, let me think. 200 maybe? 

(At this point I told Tina she actually manufactures 

678 products…)

batches to keep everything really fresh! We can produce 

100 bottles of Relax Pre-Blended Massage Oils and they 

will fly off the shelves in just a few days! Our in-house
