Dear Garden Enthusiasts,
Welcome to a World of exclusive garden tours from Boxwood Tours…
Now that our thoughts are turning to travel once again, we are delighted to bring you our latest brochure, featuring our full
collection of Exclusive Garden Tours for 2022. In reading through this brochure, we hope that you will be inspired to join
us in discovering some of the most beautiful and private gardens, many of which are not usually seen by the public.
In bringing you this collection of tours we have once again worked with the previous Boxwood Tours owner and director,
Sue MacDonald, to offer you an engaging range of tours centred around a variety of garden themes. Here in the UK, our
first departure with Hortus in March explores Cornwall’s spring-flowering magnolias, in September writer, nurseryman
and garden designer, Tom Attwood, hosts our tour to The English Lake District, renowned for its dramatic beauty, including
England’s highest mountains and finest lakes. Our travels abroad take us to Italy on three occasions, firstly with Country
Life, discovering the Italian Rose in Umbria and Lazio, then with the Telegraph, hosted by Helen Yemm, we travel to Tuscany
and later in October ‘Tuscan Gold’ visits some of the finest Renaissance gardens dating back to the 15th-Century as well as
important gardens of the early 20th-Century including La Foce, designed by Cecil Pinsent for Iris Origo, arguably Pinsent’s
best garden.
Our core team, together with Sue MacDonald and our troop of expert hosts and tour leaders, have continued with utmost
effort to ensure that we provide well-researched, enjoyable tours with a personalised service to give you a holiday that will
enrich and inspire.
We look forward to welcoming you on a holiday soon.
