Leinster vs Connacht

Tullamore sit in third place making it a
one, two, three for the Leinster clubs in
the division.
So, as we approach the halfway stage
of this season’s league campaign, and
reverse fixtures start to commence,
the position is looking healthy for
the majority of Leinster clubs as they
challenge for titles and promotion playoffs.
The men’s Energia All-Ireland League to
date this season has produced matches
of the highest quality across all five
divisions. There has been a significant
increase in attendances at matches which
highlights the importance of the league
to the domestic game across the country.
Our 18 Leinster clubs are certainly
played their part.
P.S. To date out of a total of 175 matches
scheduled in this season’s league
campaign, seven matches have been
cancelled due to Covid. Each cancelled
match recorded as a nil-all score with
each team receiving two league points.
All clubs are to be commended for the
manner in which they have dealt with
restrictions and are making every effort
to ensure that the Energia All-Ireland
League will be completed with the
minimum of disruption.
