Toyland brunch is heyday for children<br />

Meet<strong>in</strong>g House all day Sunday and aga<strong>in</strong><br />

Monday even<strong>in</strong>g for the annual Toyland<br />

Brunch.<br />

They played will all the toys and drank red<br />

pop to their hearts' content—the ever-flow<strong>in</strong>g<br />

founta<strong>in</strong> of their favorite beverage never did<br />

run dry.<br />

With complete freedom from the usual<br />

parental admonitions of "Don't touch," and<br />

"Put that down.'' they had a whale of a time.<br />

More than 1,500—more than half of them<br />

children—turned out for the w<strong>in</strong>gd<strong>in</strong>g sponsored<br />

by the Mayflower Hotel with the coop-<br />

. eration of the Ford fyoad Kmart <strong>in</strong> <strong>Canton</strong>,<br />

Jerry's Bicycle on Ann Arbor Trail <strong>in</strong><br />

Plmyouth Township, and Plymouth Book<br />

World on Forest <strong>in</strong> Plymouth<br />

Amanda Hann seemed a liftle overwhelmed by all the comhiotion<br />

And over <strong>in</strong> the doll corner, kids played with just about everyth<strong>in</strong>g they could lay a hand on.<br />

Jim Stevens of Plymouth formed an <strong>in</strong>stant friendship and rivalry at<br />
