Miah Homstad Armour ’95 loved motorcycles, but it wasn’t until she toured Europe<br />
on her bike following her <strong>Thunderbird</strong> graduation that she learned how much.<br />
“It was a great job<br />
and I loved the<br />
company,” she says,<br />
“but I tired of the<br />
daily 150-mile<br />
commute to Milwaukee<br />
and back. I’m<br />
now energy-efficient.”<br />
Armour’s love of<br />
motorcycles was<br />
solidified in 1994.<br />

“Riding a motorcycle<br />
through Europe<br />
was something I<br />
couldn’t pass up,”<br />
she says.<br />
Armour, who was<br />
<strong>Thunderbird</strong>’s<br />
Chicago Chapter<br />
alumni president for<br />
two years and<br />
remains a monetary<br />
donor, credits the<br />
school for instilling in<br />
her a global mindset.<br />
“I got so much out<br />
of <strong>Thunderbird</strong>, both<br />
personally and<br />
professionally, that I<br />
want to make sure<br />
that others have that<br />
same possibility,”<br />
she says.<br />
