Usually held on the last Tuesday of the month, Retune Tuesdays are hosted by Retune,<br />

a Bishop’s Stortford-based charity that inspires young people to improve their mental<br />

well-being through creative outlets such as music and the arts.<br />

The night offers a safe and welcoming space for artists to share songs and experiences,<br />

celebrating creative expression in all its forms. Acts range from emerging local talent<br />

to acclaimed international performers, as well as house band The Retuners.<br />

Lunchtime lecture by Chris Connell, Museum volunteer<br />

and researcher. G E Pritchett was an architect practising<br />

in Bishop’s Stortford in the second half of the nineteenth<br />

century who left a considerable local legacy of new<br />

church buildings, church restorations, village schools<br />

and other buildings, in a range of styles.<br />

Lunchtime lecture with Steve Vincent, Museum<br />

volunteer and researcher. On the back of a potted<br />

history of Egypt, we will take a look at the collectable<br />

items that have come out of Egypt, be they original,<br />

Victorian fakes or Victorian and early 20th century<br />

decorative pieces.<br />
