Ian McFarlane<br />

Big Adventure Productions<br />

Ian is a London based theatre maker and producer of Big Adventure<br />

Productions. He has worked across the UK as a writer, director,<br />

choreographer and producer. Ian is delighted to return to South Mill<br />

Arts, after producing and staging last year’s Jack & the Beanstalk.<br />

His recent work includes producing the UK staged reading of the musical Till.<br />

Other credits include Forver Oz, a new play based on the Oz books <strong>by</strong> L. Frank<br />

Baum at the OSO Arts Centre, London in February 2022. He followed this with<br />

The Revellers Society, an immersive cabaret show that began life in 2020.<br />

In 2021, Ian remounted Around The World In 80s Days, at the Blackpool<br />

Grand Theatre. He originally wrote and directed the show, as part of the<br />

venue’s 125th birthday celebrations, in 2019. He also toured The Revellers<br />

Society (2020/2021) and directed The Further Adventures of Peter Pan, at the<br />

Bournemouth Pavilion (2021) Infants tour (2021).<br />

His other work as director and writer includes Betwixt! (Trafalgar Studios)<br />

The Three Musketeers (Kenton Theatre) Enchanted (Courtyard Theatre)<br />

Forever Oz (Assembly Theatre) Sleeping Beauty (Rhodes Arts Complex)<br />

Jack & the Beanstalk & Sleeping Beauty (Kenton Theatre) Directing work<br />

Etta Williams - Ella<br />

Etta is delighted to be spending the festive season at South Mill<br />

Arts.<br />

Alastair Hill - Prince Christopher<br />

Alastair graduated from the University of Warwick in 2012 and<br />

went on to complete an MA in Musical Theatre at Guildford<br />

School of Acting. He has toured the UK with all three versions<br />

of Dreamboats and Petticoats amongst tours of Saturday<br />

Night Fever and Iolanthe. Most recently, he has toured the<br />

UK, China and Taiwan in a musical production of Titanic. He<br />

has appeared in several pantos and is delighted to be back in<br />

Bishop’s Stortford after appearing as ‘The Crooked Man’ in last<br />

year’s Jack and the Beanstalk.<br />

Matthew Kellett - Buttons<br />

Matt has toured the UK extensively, most often with The National Gilbert<br />

and Sullivan Opera Company and Charles Court Opera, performing lead<br />

roles in the works of Gilbert and Sullivan including: Sgt of Police (The Pirates<br />

of Penzance), Giuseppe (The Gondoliers), Robin Oakapple (Ruddigore),<br />

Strephon (Iolanthe) and Dick Deadeye (Charles Courts Opera’s HMS<br />

Pinafore - winner ‘best opera’ - Offies 2020) among many others.<br />

In panto, Matt has performed for many seasons at The King’s Head Theatre<br />

in Islington, most recently in the title role of Beowulf (winner ‘best panto’ -<br />

Offies 2022). Previous panto appearances include: Buttons (Buttons:<br />

Another <strong>Cinderella</strong> Story), Joe Christmas (The Nativity <strong>Panto</strong>), El Tabasco<br />

(Pinocchio) & all seven of Snow White’s Dwarfs (Mirror Mirror).<br />

Matt has also appeared in roles at Opera Holland Park, Wexford Festival<br />

Opera, the Iford Arts Festival, understudied at Music Theatre Wales and<br />

performed on BBC Radios 3 & 4. He trained at the Royal Northern College<br />

of Music and Trinity College of Music, where he was awarded the silver<br />

medal for vocal studies.<br />

Aimée Moore - Semolina<br />

Dungeon. Chris can be seen around the world on many promotional<br />

materials for “The Dungeons” including The Netherlands, China and<br />

the USA.


Mason Harper - Senior Ensemble<br />

Mason has been dancing since of the age of 4 and is currently<br />

studying dance at Harlow college, covering Ballet, Commercial,<br />

Contemporary and Jazz. He has also been in many Shows /<br />

pantomimes here at south mills art’s including Beauty and the beast<br />

2018 , Sleeping Beauty 2019. I have also done Nativity the musical<br />

in 2022 and Fame the musical 2023 with BSA<br />

I can’t wait to be part of this incredible team of <strong>Cinderella</strong>, this year.<br />

I wish everyone in the show a massive good luck and also a merry<br />

Christmas and a happy new year!<br />
