Purchase a Mishkan T’Filah<br />
We want to let congregants know that they can purchase a Mishkan T’filah,<br />
particularly for streaming services for $40 per copy. This includes the Rabbi's 20%<br />
discount and covers the cost of the book and shipping to the temple.<br />
Please send a check, payable to Temple Adas Shalom, to the Office Administrator by<br />
<strong>January</strong> <strong>14</strong> th so we can place a bulk order<br />
Membership Message<br />
In the December Newsletter I talked about our emphasis on Jewish identity,<br />
answering the question ‘What is Temple Adas Shalom’ with a definitive ‘it is the<br />
people, the families, the Rabbi, and the building. But it is also most importantly a<br />
place for people to belong to a community.’ With President Mike Gordan and our<br />
RPC leaders we introduced the idea of OurTAS; pledging to engage with each<br />
other and the belief that Judaism is worth sustaining. These are commitments we<br />
make and as such, that joins all of us to our Jewish community.<br />
I presented a picture of the Value Proposition which I do so again here:<br />
It is how we sustain our future.<br />
I would like to gather a few members of the congregation together to form a new<br />
and renewed Membership Committee that will help drive this Value Proposition<br />
and sustainable Judaism in Harford & Cecil counties. Please volunteer. Send me<br />
an email at membership@templeadasshalom.com . Our next meeting will be the 1 st<br />
Tuesday in February at 7pm via zoom.<br />
