The LA Phil will be guest-directed by Elim Chan, Chief Conductor of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and Principal Guest Conductor of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and joined by 2018 Gilmore Artist Award-winner Igor Levit as soloist in Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto. Returning to the Granada Theatre stage for the first time since CAMA and the LA Phil’s 100th Anniversary concert on March 6, 2020, the venerated orchestra and century-long local favorite brings its trademark artistic programming featuring convincingly interpreted new works alongside the great masterpieces of the classical canon. More than 250 concerts are ei<strong>the</strong>r performed<br />

or presented by <strong>the</strong> LA Phil <strong>at</strong> its<br />

three iconic venues: <strong>the</strong> Frank Gehry-designed<br />

Walt Disney Concert Hall, The Ford,<br />

and <strong>the</strong> famed Hollywood Bowl. During its<br />

winter season <strong>at</strong> Walt Disney Concert Hall,<br />

with approxim<strong>at</strong>ely 165 performances, <strong>the</strong><br />

LA Phil cre<strong>at</strong>es festivals, artist residencies,<br />

and o<strong>the</strong>r <strong>the</strong>m<strong>at</strong>ic programs designed to<br />

enhance <strong>the</strong> audience’s experience of orchestral<br />

music. Since 1922, its summer<br />

home has been <strong>the</strong> world-famous Hollywood<br />

Bowl, host to <strong>the</strong> finest artists from<br />

all genres of music. Situ<strong>at</strong>ed in a 32-acre<br />

park and under <strong>the</strong> stewardship of <strong>the</strong> LA<br />

Phil since December 2019, The Ford presents<br />

an eclectic summer season of music,<br />

dance, film, and family events th<strong>at</strong> are reflective<br />

of <strong>the</strong> communities th<strong>at</strong> comprise<br />

Los Angeles.<br />
