UEPLA BOYS RETURN TO QPR
Welcome back to the ‘UEPLA’
boys from across the United
States, who are back in W12
tonight for the first time since
the 2013/14 season!
The group of football
enthusiasts, ex-players and
coaches have been visiting
London regularly since 2010
to watch as many games as
possible within the space of six
or seven days.
They watched Rangers demolish
Bournemouth 3-0 just over
eight years ago and this is their
seventh trip to the capital – the
first in three years due to the
Covid-19 pandemic.
Jeff Wagner from Kansas, one
of the founders of the group,
explained: “UEPLA is something
we made up during our first
trip to London – it stands for
‘Ultimate English Premier League
Adventure’.
“We began adding Championship
matches on the second trip and
found them to be more exciting
than the Premier League. Now it
is a mix and we’re excited to get
back and cheer on QPR!”

Dave Thomas badge in
honour of the former
Rangers winger.
Thomas, a key member
of the Rangers side
that narrowly missed
out on the league title
in 1975/76, is now
registered blind and has
been an enthusiastic
supporter of the charity.
