How did you get scouted?
I got scouted playing in a Sunday league football
tournament for my team TFA (Total Football
Academy). My first trial was at Crystal Palace but then I
moved to Spurs for a year before signing for QPR.
Have you always played the same position?
I have always been an attacking player of some kind,
but I became a winger when I was in the U12s or U13s
I’d say.
What’s the highlight of your career to date?
The highlight so far has been either getting called
up to an England camp or scoring in my FA Youth
Cup debut against Swansea back in December 2020,
although we lost 2-1.
Who’s your favourite player or inspiration?
My favourite players are Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo
because, when Neymar was at Santos, the way he
would play made me fall in love with the game. I think
Ronaldo is the best in the world and his work ethic is
second to none – he can do everything, especially the
way he has changed and developed his game. I like
exciting players and these two certainly are.
Where do you see yourself in five years’ time?
I aim to be playing football at a high and successful
level.
Which of your team-mates do you see as a future
coach or manager?
Definitely Kayden Harrack – he’s the umpire!
