On November 17, 2021 Camila shared an Instagram
story relating to her split with Shawn,
“Hey guys, we’ve decided to end our romantic
relationship but our love for one another as humans is
stronger than ever,” the statement read. “We started
our relationship as best friends and will continue to
be best friends. We so appreciate your support from
the beginning and moving forward.”
“There’s a lot of love and mutual respect between
them, and they’ll forever have each other’s back,” an
insider says.
I've discovered several looped
versions of the song for continuous
sessions of listening. I have to admit
I was extremely moved and touched
by the song — leading me to research
and share this with you guys. And,
yes, I have been listening to it the
entire time I have been putting this
together.
With lyrics like these and Shawn's
haunting voice beautifully arranged,
it's hard not to be pulled into the
heartache with him.
"Oh, the future we dreamed of is fading
to black
Oh-oh, oh-oh, oh
Oh, there's nothing more painful
Nothing more painful, oh-woah (Ohwoah)"
“I was just really craving to make music
that felt super honest and super raw
and was going through some hard
stuff at the time. Being able to just
walk around Toronto — which is
where I usually go back to process
things and where you’ll find me in my
most intimate moments — it feels like
a perfect place and video for the song.”
