Tanya About Town
Spring is finally in the
air, and with it comes
a whole host of
things to do around
our wonderful county.
Read on for my pick
of what’s on in and
around Notts over
March and April.
One of the first signs of spring is
when the bulbs come up. Holme
Pierrepont is renowned for its
glorious displays of snowdrops,
and the last couple of weeks in
February is the best time to see
this amazing display, although
the beautiful garden is open to
the public daily until the end of
April (except Saturdays). It costs
£5 for adults (children are free).
If you fancy something a little
more adventurous outdoors,
Thoresby Courtyard offers a
Segway course that will see you
take to the twists and turns of
this woodland location (12-13
March/ 9-12 April)
‘old Arnold’. Old characters and
