ART NEWS
Art Club has officially begun
for the 3 rd and 4 th graders. It
has been a lot of fun working with such a
big and talented group of students. We
kicked of the quarter doing an oil resist
painting using oil pastels and tempera
paint. It was neat to see the creative
pictures and designs the students came up
with for this project. The next week we did
a Thanksgiving painting and collage
project. The students made painted corn
cobs and shared what they were thankful
for in their lives. Next we will begin our
clay project! Art Club is every Tuesday
from 3:15 to 4:15 for a quarter. These are
the rest of the dates for the 3 rd and 4 th
graders: December 4, 11,18, January 8.
After that we will have the rest of the 4 th
graders and all the 5 th graders.
