The coatingsare processed using sputter coating equipment incleanroom conditions. The ITO coating increasesreflectivity and viewports with an additional antireflectivecoating can be quoted as specials on request.The CF kodial viewports are supplied includingan additional 6mm thick lead glass discs clippedin to the atmosphere side of the kodial window forX-Ray protection. The viewports comprise a borosilicateglass optic which is sealed to a kovar weldring using an induction heater process. The opticassembly are TIG welded in to flanges and are heliumleak tested and cleaned for ultra high vacuum(UHV) conditions.
