Well the hard work is paying off as

all the workshop manuals and

driver’s handbooks have been

accounted for and processed. If

you still have one that I don’t know

about please tell me now before it goes to the computer for final audit. Now of course there remains the task of

sorting the new Tech. category so donations are really needed soonest. In this regard I must record the generous

donation from Lindsay Elliott who has parted with some very useful and valuable volumes which have particular

interest for our vehicles . So many of the trade lists refer only to the newer vehicles, which ours are really not. He

has also given some shelf labels which will add a professional touch to the shelves. With clean windows and

washed curtains the room is looking brighter. Now to clear the seat stock and the racks can be extended. Don’t

forget that this is a Club resource for the benefit of all members. Perhaps later this year we can have an open

day to show off….but I did say perhaps and later.

Regards to all, Peter Reid

As mentioned in the minutes we have been given some shelving,

which John Mallia & Peter Reid collected from Brian McNaughton,

a friend of mine, seen here with me a lot of years ago with an

Oldsmobile I once owned. We’re supposed to be getting ready to

paint it instead of clowning around. I have known Brian since Boy

Scouts, he played drums later on, is listed in “Who’s Who of

Australian Rock’n’Roll”, I’m not, though we played in the same

band at one stage but then I swapped my guitar for a rifle.

Hi. I’m based in Coffs Harbour

and have some parts from a

1929 Messenger/Wolseley

County.. There is a diff, with

hydraulic brakes, also another

diff housing, a front axle and

brake housings, two dampers

and some assorted bits. I’d like

to sell them as a lot. David Mann
