Law Society Finuas Network<br />
The Law Society <strong>Skillnet</strong> and Law Society Finuas Network<br />
won an Outstanding Achievement Award in this category for<br />
two of its Job-seeker Support Programme (JSSP) initiatives which<br />
delivered six new programmes to unemployed professionals<br />
which included innovative certification in new areas such as<br />
Islamic Finance. Many of the individuals have since secured<br />
employment.<br />

Law Society <strong>Skillnet</strong> and<br />
Law Society Finuas Network<br />
The Law Society <strong>Skillnet</strong> and Law Society Finuas Network<br />
won an Outstanding Achievement Award in this category for<br />
nationwide enterprise-led accessible job-seeker training, using<br />
technology creatively to deliver a number of online training<br />
courses to up-skill unemployed solicitors. These courses were<br />
funded by the Job-seekers Support Programme (JSSP). You can<br />
read more about it in the Finuas section on page 22.<br />
Sinead Marron, President of the Irish Institute of Training &<br />
Development said: “Awards like the IITD National Training<br />
Awards are just the antidote people need to both counteract<br />
the current negativity out there and also to remind us that<br />
a lot of companies are actively investing in training and<br />
development and reaping the rewards of high performance.”<br />
