<strong>Technopark</strong> <strong>Zurich</strong> is home to over 260 innovative start-ups and<br />
technology companies with more than 2,700 employees. The<br />
people based here praise its central location in Switzerland’s<br />
largest city and accessibility thanks to a tram stop directly in<br />
front of the building and <strong>Zurich</strong> Hardbrücke train station within<br />
walking distance.<br />
SPACE PROVIDER AND TRAILBLAZER<br />
<strong>Technopark</strong> <strong>Zurich</strong> is also one of the largest event locations in<br />
Switzerland, with 15 rentable rooms, an auditorium for 500<br />
people, its own underground parking garage, and hotels in the<br />
immediate vicinity. Each year, 150,000 guests pass through<br />
its doors.<br />
Perhaps the biggest plus for <strong>Technopark</strong> <strong>Zurich</strong> – from the point<br />
of view of those working here – is its central location in <strong>Zurich</strong>’s<br />
vibrant Kreis 5 district. During lunchtime in summer, the promenade<br />
beside the river Limmat is a great place to jog, followed by<br />
a refreshing swim. All year round, the area comes alive after<br />
work with countless bars, restaurants, cinemas and theatres<br />
within a few hundred metres of the office.<br />
The premises at <strong>Technopark</strong>strasse 1 in <strong>Zurich</strong> West is owned<br />
by shareholders Swiss Life and Zürcher Kantonalbank, while<br />
<strong>Technopark</strong> <strong>Zurich</strong> is run by a privately financed foundation.<br />
The foundation’s aim is to promote young companies and the<br />
transition of new technologies from an initial idea to market<br />
maturity.
