Famously the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, the second wife of Henry VIII, this splendid<br />

moated castle is one of the best in the country. Inside, the splendid panelled rooms<br />

contain fine furniture and one of the best collections of Tudor Portraits in the UK. Outside there are 125 acres of glorious grounds to explore with<br />

many different themes. There is an Italian Garden, English Rose Garden, maze, giant topiary chess set and Loggia which overlooks the 38 acre lake.<br />

Wisley is a flagship for the RHS - a hub of horticultural excellence and a top visitor attraction. With over 240 acres to explore, stroll through woods,<br />

Isle of Wight Tour with local guide<br />

ONE OF OUR MOST POPULAR DAYS. After joining the ferry from Lymington we will be<br />

joined by one of our local guides for a tour of the Island – we try to see as much as possible<br />

during the day. The island boasts 60 miles of spectacular coastline and beautiful<br />

countryside. We take in many of the best sights and usually include Newport, Sandown,<br />

Godshill, Shanklin, Ventnor, Freshwater and Alum Bay. There will be a main stop for lunch.<br />
