base unit. This innovative system attaches in the car using IsoFix - available in most newly-built cars. This single
base unit can be used with any of the Maxi-Cosi Car Seat Family products (Pebble or CabrioFix and Pearl)
to ensure up to three-and-a-half years of safe travelling. You’ll know you’ve attached the car seat and leg-supported
base unit correctly with the aid of a light and sound display. Once it is locked in place and your child is loaded in

The Maxi-Cosi infant car seat must always be fitted in a rearward facing position (in the opposite direction to the traffic flow) using a
standard 3-point seat belt or base (IsoFix or non-IsoFix base). NEVER place the Maxi-Cosi infant car on a front seat if an airbag is fitted.

Preparing your baby for a trip in the car, whether it’s a short ride to the shops or a long road trip, can
sometimes be a hassle. The Maxi-Cosi EasyBase 2 makes getting your infant car seat in and out of the
car hassle-free. That’s because the base unit stays securely attached in the car - using the car’s seat
belt system - at all times, leaving you free to attach the car seat or remove it with a minimum of fuss.
An indicator lets you know that the seat is safely installed and a belt tensioner ensures that the base
