� Commitment to technical guidance and development support to Katine
� The need for a clearly stipulated community contribution
PROJECT ADVISORY COMMITTEE
This exists at the national/country level, comprised of the AMREF Uganda country director (as
chairperson), the AMREF Uganda Deputy Country Director, key contacts in the line ministries,
as well as representatives of Barclays, PANOS, and FARM-Africa. The role of this committee
will be to provide high level partnership management support, monitor the media output at
national level, inform the project on the GoU policies and guidelines as well as monitor and
evaluate the project progress.
At the global level is a governance committee that will be comprised of the leaders of all the
partner organisations involved in this project (i.e. AMREF, Guardian, Barclays and FARM-
Africa). This committee will meet quarterly and will be informed on project progress by the
project advisory committee and district steering committee.
