Jamie Tompkins
First Team Manager
Welcome to the players, officials
and supporters of North
Greenford United. Enjoy the
game!
Good evening everyone
Welcome back to the Racecourse Ground for our second league game of the
season.
We are approaching this term on a game by game basis and remain focused on
the task at hand. Our derby day win against Windsor on Saturday was an
encouraging performance, and delighted for Brendan scoring a hat-trick on his
league debut for the club, but we quickly move onto the next game knowing we
need to prepare right for North Greenford United.
Our opponents were unstoppable at times last season, a young, energetic,
fearless and talented team that had an attacking mind set with the aim of outscoring
every other team but at the cost of conceded many goals. The game we
played here at home was a very entertaining spectacle ending with us winning 3-
2. We expect a very similar type of game this evening.
We look forward to seeing and hearing more great support tonight, and to the
make the most of the game seeing as our next five games are away! But I am sure
that won’t stop you following the team and we thank those who made the short
trip to Windsor on the weekend, we appreciate your fantastic support.
Enjoy the game! Jamie
