U10 BOYS
The boys U10’s are now midway through their 3rd and final
Go-Games year and it’s been great to watch them develop and
progress not just on the football pitch but also as comrades
and friends. We put huge emphasis on team work and trying
to make training a fun activity that the boys look forward to on
Wednesday evenings. This year we introduced the Trainer of
the month (TOTM) award, each month 5 boys are nominated for
TOTM by the mentors with one picked as the overall winner, the
boys are nominated on the basis of how they behave at training
e.g. being nice to team mates, help tidying up after training, and
having a good attitude in general, it’s been a big success and
the boys have really taken to it. We also have an annual trip to
Croke Park in March to see the Dubs which is always a great
day out and in June we had our 2nd TSS superstars BBQ which is one of the highlights of the
year for the kids, coaches, and parents. We have 65 boys approx. involved and we are always
looking for new members, you don’t have to have played before, we want boys who’d like to
give it a go, you’d be surprised how quick they get the hang of it. We train every Wednesday
7pm in Terenure College and on the brand new astro pitch in Bluebell community center
during the Winter months.
