1 / diploma — urban forest III ACT hybrid student project 8 When I designed the hybrid, I chose a scenario in which this building is placed in a virtual forest, for which I created a special type of residential building in which small sculptural cells are stacked vertically and connected by transitions between towers with stairs and elevators. With such a stretch upwards, towers give a completely new urban space, in which there is a lot of light, while I give a priority to the public function. I explored the theme of a deconstructed typical plan, where the cell area becomes minimal and there is a lot of air around. Each cell type is unique. Their sculptural form was created for different scenarios of life. The walls form a functional space. Somewhere the bed is raised, somewhere the table grows out of the wall. In a cell, the interior affects the exterior and vice versa. Thus, a difference in shape is created, and when they are added vertically, complex unique towers arise. The towers are being printed using future 3D printing technology, in which concrete is poured in layers. Now examples are known in low-rise construction, and I assumed that this would also appear in high-rise construction.
