Issuing & Renewing Residence Card for<br />
Refugees by the KRG’s<br />
Residence Directorate & CDO<br />
In <strong>August</strong>, 1,009.refugee families (3,564.individuals) were able to get or<br />
renew their residence cards due to CDO's assistance, facilitation, and the<br />
exceptional work of the government's Residence Directorate.<br />
Located in CDO, the government's residency division is in charge of<br />
issuing and renewing residence permits to Syrian refugees. The<br />
permission must be renewed in order to prevent the possibility that the<br />
refugee may lose their work or have their freedom of movement restricted.<br />
