Όλα αυτά τα χρόνια σκοπός μας είναι να προωθήσουμε τη χορωδιακή τέχνη και να φέρουμε κοντά
ετερογενείς κουλτούρες και πολιτισμούς από διάφορα μέρη του κόσμου. Φέτος, στο Φεστιβάλ
και το Διαγωνισμό έχουμε την τιμή να φιλοξενούμε χορωδίες υψηλού επιπέδου από τη Νότιο
Αφρική, το Ισραήλ, τη Βουλγαρία αλλά και την Ελλάδα. Ως καλλιτεχνικός διευθυντής των
Χορωδιακών δρωμένων και γνωρίζοντας την ποιότητα των συμμετεχουσών χορωδιών, ανυπομονώ
για τις εμφανίσεις και την ευγενή άμιλλα κατα την διάρκεια του Διαγωνισμού. Ευχαριστώ
πολύ την οργανωτική και την καλλιτεχνική επιτροπή του φεστιβάλ, το Δήμο Καρπενησίου
και το Δήμαρχο κύριο Κώστα Μπακογιάννη, καθώς επίσης και τις συμμετέχουσες χορωδίες.

The 15th International Choir Festival of Karpenissi and the 9th International Choir Competition “Antonio Vivaldi” are part of a long-lived
cultural course in the field of choir music. All of these years, our aim is to promote the Choir Art and bring together heterogeneous cultures
from different countries and places of the world. This year in particular, our organizing committee is honored by the participation of high
quality choirs coming from South Africa, Israel, Bulgaria and Greece. The majority of them consist of highly qualified choir conductors
and choir members, demonstrating at the same time an essential respect for the worldwide choir art heritage. As an artistic director of
the choir events, I expect outstanding live performances, as well as pure and noble competition amongst the participating choirs.
As far as the organization of these choir events is concerned, I would personally like to thank the organizing committee of
the Festival, the municipality of Karpenissi and our Mayor in particular, but also all the participating choirs which will honor
us with their live performances and participation. I hope that such a participation will further motivate their, as well as
our own, efforts to serve the Choir Art. I finally wish a pleasant accommodation full of unforgettable moments to everybody.

Η νέα Δημοτική Αρχή στηρίζει φέτος ένα μακρόβιο και συνάμα πολύ ξεχωριστό για τον τόπο μας
θεσμό. Η χορωδιακή τέχνη αποτελεί ένα σημαντικό μέρος του μουσικού πολιτισμού και είμαστε
πολύ περήφανοι που το Καρπενήσι φιλοξενεί με συνέπεια από το 1988 το Διεθνές Χορωδιακό
Φεστιβάλ και το Διεθνή Διαγωνισμό Χορωδιών που διοργανώνει ο Μουσικός Πολιτιστικός Σύλλογος
Καρπενησίου “Antonio Vivaldi”. Εύχομαι καλή επιτυχία στη διοργάνωση, καλή επιτυχία στις
συμμετέχουσες στο διαγωνισμό χορωδίες και ευχάριστη διαμονή σε όλους τους επισκέπτες μας.

This year, the municipality of Karpenissi supports a special long- lived institution. The choir
art is a significant part of the musical culture and we are very proud as the city of Karpenissi
has been hosting the International Choir Festival and Competition “Antonio Vivaldi”
since 1988. I wish good luck in the events, good luck to the contest participants and a pleasant stay to our guests.
