Best pub
Location
in Cornwall
Who doesn’t love a Cornish pub? It’s something
ingrained in the hearts of so many Cornish folk,
and often a top priority for our county’s visitors.
Here at The Bowgie Inn, we’re fortunate enough to be in what we
think is the best location in Cornwall (if not the whole UK!), but
there’s lots of other things that make us well worth a visit too…
Beer Garden
Our beer garden had a fantastic
make-over in summer 2021. It
now consists of patio areas for
each picnic table, stainless steel
and composite material picnic
benches, giant planters filled
with sensory plants, plus granite
steps and lots of open space to
emphasise our incredible view!
It’s the perfect place to enjoy a
Sunday lunch in the sunshine or
your favourite chilled beverage
whilst watching the sunset.
LOCATION
But let’s start with our amazing
location on West Pentire
Headland. Overlooking the
Atlantic Ocean, our little piece of
Cornwall is always breathtaking.
Crantock Beach has truly got
something to offer everyone, from
wild swimming and surfing, to
exploring caves and hidden coves,
to stand-up paddle-boarding
on The Gannel. Plus, a Crantock
sunset is a must-see for any trip
to the South West. With plenty of
accommodation near by, it’s the
ideal set up for beach days every
day!

DRINKS
It’s a well-known fact that at least half the enjoyment of a pub
comes from the drinks - and we’re more than well-equipped at The
Bowgie! We always try to embrace our Cornish roots and support
our incredible local producers. Be it with a range of locally pressed
ciders or with a Cornish gin like Tarquin’s, Trevethan or St Ives -
you’re sure to get a real taste of the South West. We’re also proudly
Cask Marque Certified, with a constant selection of the finest
Cornish cask ales.
