NEWQUAY’S WORLD-CLASS SKATEPARK!

Concrete

waves

Concrete Waves replaced

the hugely popular,

but aging, wooden waves

skatepark. You can skate, BMX

and rollerblade, or simply sit

and watch in awe of all the

talented users. Why not take

the kids down, chill and watch

with friends or even have a go

yourselves? Newquay’s Concrete

Waves skate park is FREE and

open to all users of all ages!

Employing designers with a long

history in such projects, it was

designed to meet the needs of

the accomplished local wheeled

sports community of Newquay

and Cornwall whilst also serving

as a facility for riders, national

and international visitors to

the town. The style of the

skatepark is completely unique

and is highly regarded as both

challenging for the experienced,

yet safe and well thought

out for those less used to its

challenges!

Concrete Waves consists of

four separate areas: a retrostyle

pool, expansive street run,

stair set and an internationally

significant bowl. The park is

therefore geared for all abilities

and disciplines, including

professional-level. The park is

built with safety in mind, whilst

facilitating large numbers of

users.
