MILEY CYRUS, 30, and her big sister Brandi, 35,
hit a major rough patch when, according to a report,
the “Wrecking Ball” singer was accused of flirting
with Brandi’s then-boyfriend, Christian rocker Sam
Hancock. “Miley was trying to hook up with him
and date him,” a friend of the family said. “She was basically
trying to steal her sister’s boyfriend, or at least cheat with him.”

ACCORDING to Chet Hanks, growing
up rich and famous isn’t all it’s cracked
up to be. In a 13-minute YouTube video
he released in February, 32-year-old
Chet says his movie-star dad, Tom
Hanks, wasn’t much help when he was being
bullied by classmates. “I didn’t have a strong male
role model to tell me…‘Bro, f**k these people.
They are just jealous of you,’” he said. He also
accused his dad and mom, Rita Wilson, both 66,
of sending him to an abusive camp when he was
a teenager dealing with substance-abuse issues.
(In 2015, Chet entered rehab for his cocaine addiction.)
The father of one (he shares Micaiah, 6,
with ex Tiffany Miles) says he was essentially
kidnapped by “military-looking dudes” and sent
to southern Utah where he lived without a roof
over his head for months and was forced to do
manual labor.
Now an insider says Chet’s strained relationship
with his parents is slowly improving. “Chet is a
very independent character. He loves his mom and
dad, but independence is key to him. He’ll be included
in the holiday this year but he’ll also do his
own thing with his buddies and Micaiah.”
