Hello, Dolly! Last year’s special saw
Miley ring in 2022 with cohost Pete
Davidson. But for the countdown to
2023, the “Wrecking Ball” singer brought in
the big guns: Her cohost will be none other
than her godmother, Dolly Parton! “Dolly
told me that she wanted to do something
different that she had never done before,”
revealed Miley. “What I love about that is
that a lot of people feel that around New
Year’s. That resonates. When the clock
turns midnight, they think they’re going to
magically change.” The pop princess and
the country queen will be joined by a starstudded
guest list of eclectic performers
including Sia, Latto and Rae Sremmurd.
[The lineup] is very me,” said Miley. “It’s
curated in a way that makes no sense — but
makes total sense.” It’s a party in the U.S.A.!

College professor Jack Gladney (Driver) and
his fourth wife, Babette (Gerwig), question
everything after an airborne toxic event forces
them to evacuate their blended family from their
suburban home. Director Noah Baumbach’s
absurdist adaptation of Don DeLillo’s classic
1985 novel is a reverent take on an irreverent
masterpiece. It often lifts DeLillo’s zingy dialogue
verbatim from the book — and although some
of the chatter was better suited to the page, it
remains ridiculously relevant.
