BWFCST
ENGAGEMENT BETWEEN THE TRUST AND THE CLUB
HAS NEVER BEEN BETTER- LET’S BUILD ON THAT.
On 15th January 2023, the trust
celebrated its 7th birthday. Time
passes so quickly and the journey
that the trust has been on since
formation in 2016 has been
eventful to say the least. We were
a Championship club when the
BWFCST was formed and the
last seven years have seen three
relegations and two promotions.
In our early years, the relationship
with the owner was difficult. Since
2019 and exit from administration
under Football Ventures,
engagement between trust and
club has improved year on year.
As evidence of this, there are now
regular scheduled meetings taking
place and we recently posted
on the trust website the minutes
from our latest quarterly meeting
with the club which was held on
6th January and can be view by

The two main subjects discussed
were the structure and content
of an upcoming club survey of
BWFC supporters and the ongoing
programme of improvements
relating to disabled supporters’
facilities. Please visit the website
and have a read through the notes,
but we also hope that those BWFC
fans that aren’t already BWFCST
members will appreciate the level
of engagement we now have
with the club and will consider
becoming trust members and
joining in with the dialogue.
We are also extending that
invitation to our younger
supporters as your input and
opinions are vitally important. If you

As part of the ongoing activities
of the trust, we have our AGM
scheduled for 2nd February and
members will be able to attend
in person and to view online. The
evening will be hosted by Jack
Dearden and our special guest
will be BWFC CEO, Neil Hart.
Registrations details will be sent
out to members over the next
few days. Also, during March and
April, we will be running our annual
elections and this year three of
our board members who have
completed their 2 year period will
stand down. Again, members will
be notified of the details in the very
near future.
