¿QUÉ ES THEPACK®?
THEPACK® es la nueva marca registrada de GARCIA
DE POU para su nuevo packaging de cartón fabricado
con tecnología nano-micro.
¿QUÉ ES LA TECNOLOGÍA NANO-MICRO?
Nano-micro es el tamaño más pequeño para el cartón
ondulado. Implica mucha tecnología, inversión y
conocimiento para producir la ondulación nanomicro
con papeles de poco gramaje.
¿CUÁLES SON LAS VENTAJAS DE LA
NANO TECNOLOGÍA PARA EL PACKAGING
ALIMENTARIO Y EL TAKE-AWAY?
Con la nano tecnología, los envases se vuelven más
fuertes, ligeros y permiten mantener la temperatura
interior durante más tiempo.
La ondulación nano-micro proporciona una
mayor rigidez a los envases y permite reducir la
cantidad de papel utilizado en su fabricación.
¿SON LOS PRODUCTOS THEPACK®
NANO-MICRO RESISTENTES A LAS
GRASAS?
Todos los productos THEPACK® nano-micro son
resistentes a grasas y humedad gracias a que o
bien llevan incorporada una capa interna de papel
antigrasa (libre de PFOS / PFOA) o bien llevan un
recubrimiento de polipropileno (PP), que impide
el deterioro del envase durante su utilización.
¿SON LOS PRODUCTOS THEPACK®
MICROONDABLES?
Sí, son microondables. Pueden calentarse en el
microondas durante 9 minutos a 1000W o 7 minutos
y medio a 1200W.
¿PARA QUÉ ESTÁ HECHO
EXACTAMENTE THEPACK®?
Su finalidad es sustituir al packaging de FOAM
(PSE Poliestireno Expandido).
THEPACK® es la solución ideal para este
cambio ya que combina calidad y respeto al medio
ambiente, es biodegradable, ligero, resistente y
proporciona aislamiento térmico.

WHAT IS THEPACK®?
THEPACK® is the new registered trademark of
GARCIA DE POU for its latest range of cardboard
packaging produced with nano-micro technology.
WHAT IS NANO-MICRO TECHNOLOGY?
Nano-micro flute is the thinnest thickness of
corrugated cardboard. Producing nano-micro flute
from lightweight paper requires a high degree of
technology, investment and know-how.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF
NANO TECHNOLOGY FOR FOOD
AND TAKEAWAY PACKAGING?
Nano technology makes packaging stronger, lighter
and more heat insulated (the internal temperature
is maintained for longer).
Nano-micro flute cardboard is more rigid
and reduces the amount of paper used in the
manufacturing process.
ARE THEPACK® NANO-MICRO
PRODUCTS GREASEPROOF?
All THEPACK® nano-micro products are greasepoof
and WS wet strenght resistant, since they either
boast an inner liner of greaseproof paper (PFOS/
PFOA free) or a polypropylene (PP) coating, which
prevent damage to the packaging during use.
ARE THEPACK® PRODUCTS
MICROWAVEABLE?
Yes, they are microwaveable. They can be heated
in the microwave for nine minutes at 1000W or
seven and a half minutes at 1200W.
WHAT EXACT PURPOSE DOES
THEPACK® HAVE?
THEPACK® is an alternative to packaging made
from Expanded Polystyrene (EPS).
We believe that THEPACK® is a solution
combining quality and respect for the environment,
since it is biodegradable, lightweight and strong
and delivers heat insulation.

¿SON LOS PRODUCTOS THEPACK®
RESPETUOSOS CON EL MEDIO AMBIENTE?
La mayoría de los productos THEPACK® son
biodegradables, lo que evita la generación de
residuos tóxicos y contaminantes.
Cuentan con certificación FSC, lo que garantiza
que la materia prima procede de bosques gestionados
de forma responsable.
Se fabrican con papel de alta calidad 100%
virgen siendo todos los productos sostenibles y
respetuosos con el medioambiente.
Están elaborados con materiales reciclables
lo que permite que el envase, una vez utilizado, se
convierta nuevamente en materia prima aprovechable:
0% residuos.
Además, su característica principal es que,
gracias a la ondulación nano-micro, el envase se
vuelve más ligero con una mayor rigidez. Esto
es muy importante en esta transición ecológica
porque se reduce el consumo de material utilizado,
promoviendo un consumo responsable y una mayor
consciencia medioambiental.

which means they do not produce toxic or polluting
waste.
The range is FSC certified, which guarantees
that the raw material comes from responsibly
managed forests.
Made from high-quality pure virgin paper,
all products in the range are sustainable and

THEPACK® products are made from recyclable
materials, which means that, once used, the packaging
can be converted once again into usable raw material
