Our Early Morning and Twilight sessions are in place to help
parents who need to bring their children to nursery early and
who cannot collect them at the end of the afternoon session.
Our dedicated, qualified staff ensure the children have the best possible
experience and enjoy the various activities and games on offer.
Timings:
Early Morning Care is available from 08:00 to 09:00 and the Twilight Session
runs from 15:30 to 16:30.
How it works:
Early Morning Care and Twilight Sessions can be used on an ad hoc basis
or parents can register and pre-pay for the full day service at the start
of term.
Prices:
Early Morning Session: £15 a day
Twilight Session: £15 a day

OUR TEAM
WHAT WE OFFER OUR PARENTS
There is a great deal of fun to be had throughout the year with events for children and importantly,
for adults too.
We wish to keep our parents as informed and well-educated as possible. We have a series of parent events
that run throughout the year for example:
• Information Evenings
• National Storytelling Week
• Regular Coffee Mornings at our Cafe
• End of Term Showcase
We have an ‘Open Door’ policy for parents. We want parents to be informed and in open discussion with the nursery
at all times.

SETTLING IN PROCEDURE
FOOD & MILK
Before your child starts their learning journey with us, we offer an optional home visit. The purpose
of the visit is to get to know your child in their own surroundings, as well as to introduce your child’s
Key Person to both of you.
It is a great opportunity to find out more about your child’s interests, likes and dislikes. We can then use this information
to make your child’s transition as smooth as possible. It will also give you an opportunity to ask any questions that you may
have. We understand the transition is not only for your child, but for you too.
We would like the transition from home
to Nursery to be easy and enjoyable, so
we offer a few shorter sessions for the
first few days at Kew Green Nursery. We
invite you to join us for a ‘Stay and Play’
on your child's first day. The following
day, your child attends Nursery for a twohour
session, with you saying ‘goodbye’,
and thereafter they start their normal
sessions.
We will however adjust any times and
settling in days, according to how your
child is managing. Most importantly, we
don't want to give them any time to start
missing you.
All snacks and lunches are
prepared on site. Please note
that we are a nut-free facility.
If your child attends both a morning
and afternoon session then a hot lunch
will be included. If they only attend the
morning session but wish to attend
lunch club, they can eat a hot lunch at
a cost of £8 per day.
Milk is provided for all our children
at their mid-morning snack. We also
provide an assortment of healthy
snacks for morning and afternoon
breaks. Children can help themselves
to drinking water throughout the day
from our water station.
