“I’m not one of those chefs that feels
my competition is threatening, I think
we’re all in it to make this better and if
we’re all together and good partners we
can make all of Newport better. That’s my
theory”, Chef Bob says.
On the dinner menu, as a starter
they have perfected the Asparagus fries
that lend a fun and unique spin on an
appetizer menu. For the main course, you
can choose from Beer Battered Halibut,
battered in a local beer with a light and
crisp flakiness, a Double Bone-In Pork
Chop from Carlton Farms; Painted
Hills Steaks; Seafood Louie Salads with
Shrimp, Crab, or both! Also available are
Steamer Clams and mussel dishes that
reflect the current season.
Sea Glass Bistro offers a full kids’ menu,
and their patio is dog friendly too! With
a great view of the Pacific Ocean, seating
options located on the patio are available
when the weather allows.
“The great part about living here is
there are so many things from our area
that are grown here, whereas in LA or San
Francisco you have to call and get them
from somewhere else. We have that in our
backyard” exclaims Chef Bob.
