FoStAC Garden diary date<br />

Friends of St Andrew’s Church, have arranged a private<br />

tour of an NGS Cotswold garden followed by afternoon<br />

tea on Monday, 12 June <strong>2023</strong>. FoStAC is also looking<br />

forward to its annual garden party locally on Sunday<br />

9 July. More details on these two events to follow —<br />

however you may want to reserve these dates now!<br />

Sing My Fair Lady favourites<br />

On Sunday 26 <strong>March</strong>, 6-8 pm in Charvil Village Hall<br />

female singers are invited to a fun singing evening led<br />

by Suzanne Newman. <strong>The</strong>y will be singing a medley of<br />

songs from My Fair Lady arranged for a two-part choir.<br />

Songs include On the street where you live, Wouldn't it<br />

be loverly, Get me to the Church on time and I could have<br />

danced all night. <strong>The</strong> £10 cost includes music and light<br />

Boer War VC winners talk<br />

Brian Hunt's illustrated talk in Pearson Hall on 17<br />

<strong>March</strong> is about the two Victoria Cross medal winners<br />

who are buried in St Andrew's churchyard. <strong>The</strong>y were<br />

awarded VC's during the Boer war and later came to live<br />

in Sonning.<br />
