PLANTING DESIGN | Invigorating your Gwanak with Planting식재설계 | 관악캠퍼스, 서울Instructor담당교수YoungJoon Choi최영준설계재료로서의 식물에 대한 지식과 안목을 제공하고, 식재와 관련된 동시대의 새로운 이론과 흐름에 대한 이해를 나누며, 나아가 본인만의 식재설계방식을 실습할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 것을 목표로 한다. 식물을 재료로 관찰할 수 있는 능력을 키우고, 식물재료 자체의 아름다움을 드러내는 심미적 방식 뿐 아니라, 다양한 효과를 드러낼수 있는 기능적 배치의 방식을 이해하고자 한다. 기말 캠퍼스 프로젝트는 한 학기동안의 이해를 종합적으로 실습하는 기회로서 캠퍼스 내 일부 지역을 식재설계 대상지로설정하여, 식재설계컨셉과 예상효과를 계획하고 식재평면도와 식재설계모형작업을 통해 표현한다.The planting design class aims to provide knowledge and insight on plants as design materials, to share understanding of new theoriesand trends related to planting, and to provide an opportunity to practice one’s own planting design method. It seeks to develop the abilityto observe plants as design materials and to understand not only the aesthetic way of revealing the beauty of plant materials themselves,but also the way of functional arrangement that can reveal various effects. The final campus project is an opportunity to comprehensivelypractice understanding during one semester. Some areas within the campus are set as planting design site, and creatively create plantingdesign concepts and expected effects, and express them through planting plans and physical models.42Planting Design
