2007 Summer 2007<br />
<strong>Kirkwood</strong> operates learning centers in each of the counties that make up the college’s service area. Each<br />
center offers a large selection of college credit courses, making it possible for a student to earn an Associate<br />
of Arts degree at a location close to home. Besides college credit courses, each center provides continuing<br />
education classes, high school completion programs and GED testing services.<br />
<strong>Kirkwood</strong> Telecommunications System (KTS) uses interactive, instructional television to bring college credit<br />
courses to many locations throughout our seven-county service area. Faculty interact with students at each<br />
location and answer questions via microphones and TV cameras in the classroom.<br />
