BOCES Consortium of Continuing Education.

Stephen McCoy has been promoted to
vice president of finance and chief financial
officer at Kinney Drugs, Gouverneur,
N.Y. Stephen will be responsible for
financial planning and development.
1984
Michael Rava is a manager of contracting
at Slocum-Dickson Medical Group,
New Hartford, N.Y.
1986
Robert Froysell is vice-president -
supply chain of Furniture Brands International
in High Point, N.C.
1987
Bruce Karam was recently appointed
principal of John F. Kennedy Middle
School in Utica, N.Y.
1989
Bryan Gachowski is employed at
Intergrail were he was product developer
and joined the information technology
department as a database developer.
Marc Lang is employed as a manager at
Beck Tire International in Kansas City,
Mo.
1991
Matt Hurd has been transferred to a new
Web product team as a software engineer
at ProSoft in East Syracuse, N.Y. He previously
served as an engineer on ProSoft’s
KStream software application.
1992
Todd LaFreniere is employed at
Clough, Harbour and Associates LLP
and has been promoted to associate. He
is currently a mechanical section manager
in the industrial service group. He
has worked on several projects for CHA
in various capacities, such as the Syracuse
University Ice Rink and the
Hudson Valley Community College
Baseball Stadium.

technology support group for business,
finance, and administrative services.
Linda Mason Sidney has been appointed
director of conference services
and special projects for the Division of
Graduate Studies and Continuing Education
at Utica College.
Alissa Sollitto is employed by GGS Information
Services where she has been
promoted to technical publications editor.
GGS is headquartered in York, Pa.,
and has a facility in Atlantic Highlands,
N.J.
Pollyann Young is employed at Port
City Family Practice as a nurse practitioner.
1993
Margaret Brown, CPA, has established
a practice in Utica, N.Y. She has several
years’ experience in accounting, investments,
and corporate and personal tax.
1994
Matthew Cardamone is employed by
the Cement Division of the LaFarge Corp.
and was recently promoted to purchasing
performance manager. He will be relocating
to the company’s office in Atlanta,
Ga.
Shawn Van Etten has joined SUNY
Cortland’s staff as director of institutional
research and assessment.
1995
Kenneth Andela works for the New
York State Department of Transportation
as a civil engineer 1 in the Traffic and
Safety Group for Region 2. He is a licensed
professional engineer in the state
of New York.
Susan DuFour has joined the Utica
School of Commerce as a new adjunct
faculty member. Susan is assistant director
of administration for the Madison
County Public Health Department and
will teach accounting.
1997
Barbara Conrad has joined the health
services department as a utilization management
nurse in the ASO unit.
Amy Hochmuth has been promoted to
director of case management and utilization
review at Ellis Hospital,
Schenectady, N.Y.
1998
Robert Acey is a computer-training specialist
for the Utica City School District
and is a new adjunct faculty member at
the Utica School of Commerce.
Linda Geariety is employed by New
York Compensation Managers, Inc., in
the Case Management Department as a
nurse case manager.
Dat Huyuh has joined Christen & Sack
Consulting Engineers, PC of Syracuse as
a plumbing/fire-protection engineer.
Donna Jennings has been promoted to
multi-center nurse manager at Ellis Hospital,
Schenectady, N.Y. Donna has
worked at the Ellis Hospital facility in
various nursing capacities since the
1970s.
Donna A. Pecor is supervisor of human
resources at Oneida-Herkimer-Madison
BOCES, New Hartford, N.Y.
Concetta Reginelli has been named
clinical coordinator for the emergency
department at St. Elizabeth Medical Center,
Utica, N.Y. In her new position she
works with staff to maintain education
and clinical skills and to keep them
current with emergency department
standards of practice.
1999
David Chomycz is employed as a civil
engineer by the New York State Department
of Transportation.
2001
Mathew Dziedzic has joined M&T
Bank’s Mohawk Acres Office in Rome,
N.Y., as branch sales associate. He is a
recent graduate of the bank’s sales development
program.
Lisa Mierek has been appointed director
of the Adult Day Health Care Program
at the Sitrin Medical Health Care
Center, New Hartford, N.Y. She is
responsible for overseeing and coordinating
all aspects of the program including
policy and procedure development, marketing
and staff supervision. She is also
the facilitator for care plan meetings and
assures that care plans are carried out as
prescribed.
