Katy founded the consultancy firm KAM in
2014 when she saw a gap in the market for a
hospitality & foodservice insight agency that
puts creativity at its heart. She’s passionate
about pubs, bars and restaurants (not just
being in them!).
Katy is a BII Trustee, Advisor for Only a
Pavement Away (OAPA) and a Judge for the
BII Licensee of the Year Awards, Restaurant
Marketer & Innovator Awards and the Great
Taste Awards. She’s also a Plan B and Otolo
mentor. KAM started Pedalling for Pubs,
the hospitality initiative to raise money and
awareness for the LTC and OAPA.

Co-Founder, PINS Social Club
A modern adaptation of the idea of a
traditional social club, PINS Social Club
opened in 2020. The club transformed a
disused car park within the Liverpool city
centre into a 20,000 sq ft destination for
people to come together and socialise
through activities, events and experiences.
Across the three floors are bowling lanes,
American pool tables, shuffleboards, table
tennis tables, a live entertainment space,
bars, a coffee shop and more. The ‘Roof
Project’ is an expansive urban outdoor space
on the top floor, seating up to 300 guests, and
boasts street food vendors, a pizza counter
and a hard liquor bar.
