Gifts to Restricted Funds<br />
Restricted funds represent special interests<br />
that occur on an annual basis and donor-<br />
designated funds for specific purposes.<br />
Breaking Ground on Tomorrow -<br />
New Spaces - Campaign<br />
Established in 2006, this fund is designated<br />
for the <strong>School</strong>’s facilities expansion. This<br />
fund totaled $3,109,000 as of 6/30/08.<br />
The Archive Project<br />
Established in 1992 with gifts honoring<br />
retiring board chair Toby Rosenblatt. The<br />
funds are used for the preservation of<br />
archival information and the creation of a<br />
history of the <strong>School</strong>.<br />
The Faculty Enrichment Fund<br />
Established in 1997 with an anonymous gift<br />
of $750,000, payable over five years. The<br />
fund provides professional development<br />
and enrichment opportunities with the<br />
intention of attracting and retaining the<br />
strongest possible faculty for the <strong>School</strong>.<br />
John Trapasso Outdoor Education Fund<br />
Established in 2002 in honor of seventh<br />
grade history and English teacher John<br />
Trapasso, member of the faculty from<br />
1988-2002. Income from this fund will<br />
help make it possible for every <strong>Day</strong> <strong>School</strong><br />
student to continue to experience the<br />
Outdoor Education program that John<br />
helped to found.<br />
