Gifts to Restricted Funds Restricted funds represent special interests that occur on an annual basis and donor- designated funds for specific purposes. Breaking Ground on Tomorrow - New Spaces - Campaign Established in 2006, this fund is designated for the School’s facilities expansion. This fund totaled $3,109,000 as of 6/30/08. The Archive Project Established in 1992 with gifts honoring retiring board chair Toby Rosenblatt. The funds are used for the preservation of archival information and the creation of a history of the School. The Faculty Enrichment Fund Established in 1997 with an anonymous gift of $750,000, payable over five years. The fund provides professional development and enrichment opportunities with the intention of attracting and retaining the strongest possible faculty for the School. John Trapasso Outdoor Education Fund Established in 2002 in honor of seventh grade history and English teacher John Trapasso, member of the faculty from 1988-2002. Income from this fund will help make it possible for every Day School student to continue to experience the Outdoor Education program that John helped to found.
