DiscovOre compatibility with other designsThe DiscovOre core barrel is compatible with most core barrel designs existing on themarket. Most components are interchangable. To convert other design core barrel intoDiscovOre in most cases there is only need to replace head assembly and overshothead (surface application). In underground application (horizontal and up-hole drilling)additionally there is requirement to change locking coupling (DiscovOre design) andmake sure that surface type adapter coupling is used (or the type with welded drivekey).
