HighlightsNo spring pinsThe innovative design of the DiscovOre headassembly eliminates all spring pins. The latchpins are replaced with a patent pending hookdesign. The retracting case pin is replaced with anassembly rod and bolt. As for the spear head pin,we’ve eliminated the spear head altogether.No spearheadWith no spear head, the DiscovOre head eliminatesone of the most common failure points of currenthead assemblies. Without the spearhead, we areable to use a loading tool at the end of the headassembly to hold the latches in and provide acomfortable surface to push the inner tube into thedrill rod.Reduced risk of jammed inner tubesWith its leveraged latch design, the DiscovOrehead increases your chances of releasing an innertube jammed in the core barrel. Just like addinga cheater bar to a wrench for a stuck bolt, theDiscovOre latch is extended past the engagementsurface to apply a substantially greater amount offorce to unlatch.
