this, we at Pendix focus on sustainability and align our actions accordingly. The result is a coherent drive concept in all
facets, which not only convinces with quality and function, but also in the area of sustainability.
The new Pendix gDrive combines Pendix GmbH‘s expertise in the eBike segment with Johnson Electric‘s 60 years of
experience in the large-scale production of electric motors. This fusion of know-how has created a powerful midmounted
motor that also impresses with its smart technology.

On the basis of the „4 pillars of sustainability“, we ensure
environmentally conscious operations. As early as the
design stage of our products, we place great emphasis on
durability and quality. If a drive should ever be defective,
we focus on „repairing instead of replacing“ in order to
extend the service life and reduce waste. For the production
of individual components, we largely use factories
of our alliance company Johnson Electric, which means
that production conditions in the value chain can be controlled.
The engine is produced in our own Pendix factory
