DESSERTS NEEDED
The need continues for desserts for community meal. We are gratefully accepting
cookies, cupcakes, and cakes to distribute to those who find themselves needing
meals on Friday evenings. Desserts can be dropped off during business hours at the
church office, Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 3:30
FC GATHERING OVER THE SUMMER
Mark your calendars! During the summer months, the FC Gathering will take place
on the third Wednesday of every month. The first one will be on June 21. Times will
remain the same, 5:30 pm for dinner and 6:30 pm for small group. Our theme for
this summer will be “Tough Questions”. Come join us on these nights for a time of
fellowship, food, and growth!
YOUNG ADULT SUMMER PARTY
Hey young adults! On Sunday, June 25 from 6 - 8 pm, we will have a summer party! This
event is open to college students home for the summer and emerging adults. Come

THIS WEEKEND’S SERMON TITLE: RESET...REFOCUS
THIS WEEKEND’S SCRIPTURE FOCUS: EXODUS 32:1-26
When we have called a halt in the rat race, what do we do? First, a look at
where we are compared to where we want to be is important. Where’s life
headed at the moment? How does that compare to where I want it to be
headed? When the people of God arrive at the foot of Mount Sinai, they are
ready to hear from God. Moses ascends the mountain to receive God’s
words. But then a week passes. Then another one. Pretty soon life settles into
some patterns at the bottom of the mountain, and the reason they are there
gets a little cloudy. Before you know it, this set apart people doesn’t look much
different from the pagan Egyptians they just left behind as they bow before
an idol of gold. When Moses comes back down the mountain with God’s
words, the people suddenly remember who they are and why they are there.
Life resets always involve time to reconnect with the life we wanted, and the
distance the life we’re living is
from that mark.
